FAQs

What hours does camp run?
Camp runs from 9:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. We offer early drop-off from 8:30am, and late pick-up is available until 4pm. Please be in touch if you require a later pick-up.
Can I send my child for only part of the week?
Our experience, and that of CGI camps worldwide, shows the benefit of children attending the full week of camp. We encourage children to book for the full week(s), as it avoids the disruption and social anxiety of joining established groups, ensures continuity of activities, and allows us to maintain optimal camper-to-staff ratios, enhancing safety and supervision.
Do I need to send food or drink with my child?
Nope! We provide a hot lunch and snacks at no extra charge. Please just send your child with a labelled water bottle.
What if my child has allergies or dietary requirements?
Please let us know in advance of any allergies or dietary needs, and we will do our best to accommodate them and ensure your child's safety. If your child requires medication to be given during camp, this must be clearly submitted in writing in advance.
What should my child wear to camp?
Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and suitable footwear. As we'll be doing messy activities, please send clothes you don't mind getting dirty. A camp T-shirt will need to be worn on certain days; we'll let you know in advance.
Will the children be going on any trips?
Yes! Main Camp (Years 1+) will go on trips, including one big trip each week, as well as weekly swimming. Older children (Years 4+) will enjoy additional trips during the week. Kiddie Camp will have daily on-site entertainment with a fun-filled programme tailored just for them.
My children are getting older. Will they still enjoy camp?
Yes! There are different schedules for each age group, so they will feel they are getting a new experience. We've got an exciting schedule planned for children in Years 4 to 6, with amazing entertainers, shows, crafts and trips!
Can my three-year-old come to camp?
Yes! We've got a great programme on-site for nursery and reception children, with entertainers and lots of fun every day. Unfortunately we don't have the staff to support children in nappies, so all children will need to be toilet trained.
Do you offer sibling or other discounts?
We offer a 10% discount for a second or any subsequent child. In addition, it is the policy of Chabad Lubavitch that no child is refused admission for financial reasons. Please feel free to discuss this in confidence with anyone from Chabad Lubavitch so we can make camp work for you and your child(ren). We encourage you to reach out as early as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
What safety precautions will you be taking?
We work with CST, the Chabad Lubavitch Security Commission and the Chabad Lubavitch Safeguarding Advisor to ensure an all-round safe environment for the children. There will always be a trained security guard on site. We have video access control at the gates and CCTV, and all staff have background checks. We have ample staff on trips and use a buddy system.
My child has additional needs, can they come to camp?
Yes! Please be in touch with Rabbi Sholem on 07438 769655 to discuss how we can make it work for your child.
