The Jewish Women’s Circle of Leeds runs activities for women who are unable to attend other activity groups due to their religious or cultural observances.
The activities will provide a way for women to learn about important areas for their personal and familial growth, or to relax in a safe and comfortable environment, which will be most conducive to their personal.
Our sessions cover areas such as healthy cooking and healthy eating, balancing work and life, roles of the women within ethnic minority cultures, mental health. We also run ladies’ nights including paint nights and craft nights.
Whenever possible we use local women as presenters at our events, particularly trying to showcase women who are starting to start their own paths.
Our activities are subsidised, and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Although activities are geared at a particular group, the content and activities are not religious and will be appropriate to all women from across the community.
