The seeming contradiction of being the Akeres Habayis “the Mainstay of the Home” and being in this world to give and help others mentioned towards the beginning middle of the episode isn’t necessarily a contradiction.
Sometimes a mother is a full time job in itself and her kids will lose out without her full attention but that position itself can be used to its fullest or just as a means to an end. Meaning to be a mother who provides love care food and attention etc. is what would be expected of a mother but to infuse her house and family with holiness and the teachings of chassidus and fear of G-d Almighty is to bring purpose into motherhood. Wow, Raizy, and Chana.
What an authentic, uplifting interview.
You see someone truly living, searching, humble. Someone in tune, working on themselves, trying to live what she learns.
What inspires me is her connection to something higher, at the same time as being involved in life in a very real way.
It was enriching and calls on the watcher(me) to live more authentically, more G-dly.
Thank you for sharing yourself - and ourselves ie. who we really are- with us, Raizy.
